Deep Soil Mixing

Soil mixing involves the mechanical blending of natural soils with engineered binding agents to improve the hydraulic and geotechnical characteristics of the soil. Deep Soil Mixing is performed in-situ with specialized tools capable of simultaneously penetrating and fragmenting the soil, injecting binding agents at depth, and blending the binding agents with the in-situ soil. Conventional Deep Soil Mixing methods involve the installation of high strength soil-mixed elements using hollow stem augers in either single or multiple axle configurations.
